Non-Executive Director Vacancy at Manchester University Press

 Manchester University Press is recruiting two non-executive directors who have broad understanding of developments in academic publishing and knowledge dissemination. We are looking for people who have high-level current or recent experience of academic publishing, or a closely related sector, including people with experience within the digital and media industries and in strategy and business development.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of one of Britain’s most prestigious university presses.

Meetings are held on a quarterly basis at the MUP offices in Manchester. This is an unpaid appointment, although travel and other necessary expenses will be available.

Interviews will be held in early 2018 and successful candidates will be appointed by the Board of Governors of The University of Manchester from 1st August 2018, for an initial period of 3 years, renewable for a further 3 years.
